Responsibilities
- Design and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum and instruction which reflects the school's approach to whole child development.
- Provide targeted small group instruction.
- Provide direct service to students to help them achieve their IEP goals.
- Differentiate instruction and provide a variety of opportunities for students to thrive.
- Cultivate relationships with students, caregivers, and educators.
- Prepare rigorous lesson plans with clear objectives intended to support development of the whole child.
- Facilitate regular communication with parents/caregivers so that they understand the growth of their child.
- Develop a culture of achievement that is aligned to the mission and values of the school.
- Actively reflect on areas of strength and growth, using qualitative and quantitative data to drive instruction and decision making.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to refine your practice.
- Demonstrate a commitment to innovation.
- Attend and actively participate in professional development activities.
- Use relevant available technology to support instruction.

- Bachelor's Degree.
- Valid Ohio teaching certificate/license or must be in the process of obtaining a valid Ohio teaching certificate/license in the subject area to be taught.
- Previous experience working with K-8 students strongly preferred.
- Google Certified Educator preferred.
- Prolonged periods of standing, moving throughout a classroom, and climbing stairs in a two story building.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- FBI/BCI background check required.
- Salary commensurate with experience ($40,000 - $74,085)
