Urban Design Company, Inc. is looking for a skilled Hardscape Specialist to join our team and bring creativity and craftsmanship to our outdoor living projects. In this role, you'll be responsible for constructing high-quality patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire features, and other hardscape elements. Your expertise in stone, pavers, and masonry work will play a key role in delivering stunning outdoor spaces for our clients.

As a Hardscape Specialist, you will be an essential part of our installation team, directly contributing to the quality and durability of the outdoor spaces we create. Your work will enhance client satisfaction and help establish Urban Design Company as a leader in high-end landscape design and construction.

• Construct patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire features, and other hardscape elements using pavers, and natural stone.
• Read and interpret landscape design plans to ensure accurate execution.
• Prepare job sites, including excavation, grading, and base preparation.
• Operate and maintain hardscape installation equipment such as saws, compactors, and skid steers.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with project managers.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve installation challenges.

• Experience in hardscape installation, including pavers, natural stone, and retaining walls.
• Strong knowledge of proper base preparation, grading, and drainage solutions.
• Ability to operate construction equipment such as skid steers, compactors, and saws.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Certifications in hardscape installation (ICPI, NCMA) are a plus but not required.
