ABOUT THE POSITION
The Director of CMO Operations oversees key operational functions across five facilities, ensuring streamlined IT management, procurement, administrative operations, and facilities management. This role provides strategic leadership to enhance operational efficiency, align resources with organizational goals, and support a collaborative environment between the CMO and schools.
With a strong focus on facilities management and IT oversight, the Director ensures the infrastructure and processes needed to achieve organizational success are in place, while maintaining alignment with long-term objectives.
ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION :
The Central Office is the non-profit entity that manages the Urban Dove Charter Schools. The CMO provides a wide range of services-including back office functions, accounting, hiring, professional development, data analysis, public relations, advocacy, and more. The CMO is also responsible for providing support structures for the schools and ensuring proper replication of the model as the organization expands.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES :
IT Management
- Lead IT operations for approximately 300 employees, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient technology systems across all sites.
- Manage IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems, with a focus on data security and scalability.
- Supervise IT consultants to oversee e-rates, equipment procurement, and system upgrades.
- Provide leadership to the IT Associate, ensuring timely and effective delivery of support and troubleshooting.
- Develop and enforce technology policies and procedures, including those related to data security, user access, and disaster recovery.
