Project Cost Control Analyst – JFK Airport
Urban Ecospaces, Inc. is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Cost Control Analyst to join our dynamic team supporting the historic JFK Redevelopment Program in New York.
About the Role:
As a Project Cost Control Analyst, you’ll play a key role in managing project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports for one of the nation’s most transformative airport redevelopment programs. You’ll work closely with the Cost Manager and be embedded with the program management team on-site at JFK.
This is a full-time in-person position, offering a unique opportunity to contribute directly to a multi-billion-dollar initiative shaping the future of transportation.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in maintaining project/program budgets and cost forecasts
- Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports for clients and leadership teams
- Create independent and conceptual cost estimates using industry standards and databases
- Support change management processes and review third-party cost proposals for accuracy
- Analyze specifications and drawings to provide accurate cost data for modifications
- Ensure quality control across all estimating activities
Essentials for the Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Finance, or related field
(or 7–10 years of equivalent cost control experience) - 3–5 years of relevant experience in cost analysis or project controls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive independently and within a collaborative team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience on large-scale, complex projects or programs
- Prior work as a client-side PM/CM agent
- Strong conceptual estimating skills and attention to detail
Position Details:
- Location: On-site at JFK Airport
- Duration: 1 to 3 years
- Salary Range: $75,000 – $115,000 annually (depending upon experience)
