What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barback position at Urban Egg?
Urban Egg is America’s Best Breakfast ® and we are looking for a motivated Bar Back to add to our team. This is a tipped position where you can earn a great hourly wage!
In the Barback position, you will assist the Bartender in general duties such as making drinks (both alcohol and barista drinks), washing dishes, removing trash, etc. Join our team and experience what a true work family is. Responsibilities
- Assist Bartender with making drinks and /or garnishing outgoing drinks.
- Stocking bar glass and various items.
- Keep dishware stocked and washed.
- Prep for various bar drinks.
- Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu items.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean bar environment.
- Prepare drinks according to RMRG’s standards.
- Ensure that recipe accuracy and time preparation time standards are adhered to.
- Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by Bartender or supervisor.
- Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate greeting.
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
Pay rates:
- Colorado Springs: Starting at $11.40
- Johnstown/Fort Collins: $11.40
- Denver: Starting at $15.27

Paid Sick Leave-Colorado
Per the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act ("HFWA"), RMRG provides the following paid leave to all employees working in a Colorado-based location:
Accrued Paid Sick Leave
Up to 48 hours of paid leave per year, for the use of a variety of health and safety needs. Employees earn 1 hour of leave for every 30 hours worked. Leave is paid at the same pay rate as time worked.

REQUIREMENTS
- Previous serving experience may be required.
- Must be able to speak, read and write in basic English fluently and be able to count proficiently. Bi-lingual staff always welcome.
- Positive interpersonal skills required, strong character, understands the culture of RMRG.
- Food Handlers Card not required, but welcomed.
- Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
- Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs.
