The purpose of this Bartender/Barista position is to interact with our guests and ensure they have a great experience when dining at our restaurant. Bartenders are responsible for positive guest interactions while communicating with guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Bartenders/Baristas are expected to be attentive to our guests’ needs and make them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.

Responsibilities

· Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items.

· Responsible for maintaining a clean bar environment.

· Identifies and monitors when guest may have had too much to drink and notifies supervisor.

· Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.

· Prepare mixed drinks according to RMRG’s standard for service to your customer's table.

· Ensure that recipe accuracy and time preparation time standards are adhered to.

· Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change.

· Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.

· Filling in for absent staff as needed.

· Assist with special events as needed.

· Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate greeting.

· Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.

· Develop regular clientele by learning guest names, dining preferences and likes and dislikes.

· Maintains 100% responsibility for all cash handling in the bar drawer.

Accrued Paid Sick Leave-Colorado

Per the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act ("HFWA"), RMRG provides the following paid leave to all employees working in a Colorado-based location:

Up to 48 hours of paid leave per year, for the use of a variety of health and safety needs. Employees earn 1 hour of leave for every 30 hours worked. Leave is paid at the same pay rate as time worked.
