Regional Culinary Manager Job Description
Ensure all culinary operational standards are being upheld to drive consistency, health, safety, and financial expectations of Urban Egg. Create a culture that supports future growth and professional development of the culinary talent’s performance and potential.
We are seeking a candidate with a strong culinary background and a genuine passion for the restaurant industry, dedicated to creating exceptional dining experiences. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a commitment to culinary excellence and a desire to contribute to a dynamic and innovative team.
Responsibilities:
· Long and short-term planning and execution of day-to-day operations.
· Partnering with the Culinary Director to create and enforce Urban Egg Culinary SOPs, including but not limited to: Taste plate, prep list, order guides, recipes.
· Build close relationships with all restaurant Culinary Managers and Assistant Culinary Managers.
· Participate in restaurant oversights to attract, retain, and motivate the team members, while providing a safe environment; hire, train, develop, empower, coach, counsel, and recommend performance improvement.
· Recommend menu items and participate in research and development by following directions from the Culinary Director.
· Drive operational systems and controls as it relates to implementing and driving usage of R365 and other Urban Egg standard operating procedures.
· Monitor and control the maintenance / sanitation of kitchen, equipment, and related areas to ensure a healthy and safe work environment which meets / exceeds federal, state, and Urban Egg standards.
· Be a servant leader with no hesitation to support Culinary Managers and Assistant Culinary Managers with a hands-on approach.
· Minimum 75% travel to support new restaurant openings, ensuring a smooth and efficient launch process. Reliable transportation to support travel time and being in the Colorado restaurants daily to oversee culinary operations, provide guidance, and maintain a strong presence with the teams.
Qualifications:
· Must have experience in multi-unit culinary management (for fast casual at a minimum), preferably a polished casual restaurant.
· Minimum of 6 years experience in progressive culinary leadership roles.
· Minimum of 2 years experience of working in a multi-unit restaurant environment.
· Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
· Possess professionalism and passion for supporting culinary teams and management.
· Strong communication, cooperation, and organizational skills required.
· Ability to relate well to individuals and groups with widely varying backgrounds, perspectives, education, and skills.
· Knowledge and comfortability with all Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
· Ability to learn other software programs such as Restaurant365, PlayerLync, Toast, Sysco Shop.
The Regional Culinary Manager reports directly to the Culinary Director.

Paid Sick Leave-Colorado
Per the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act ("HFWA"), Rocky Mountain Restaurant Group provides the following paid leave to all employees:
Accrued Paid Sick Leave: Up to 48 hours of paid leave per year, for the use of a variety of health and safety needs. Employees earn 1 hour of leave for every 30 hours worked. Leave is paid at the same pay rate as time worked.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
