Job Overview
We are seeking a detail oriented and organized Sterile Processing Technician to join our rapidly growing fully licensed ambulatory surgical center specializing in plastic surgery and aesthetics in Chester, NJ. Individuals should be a graduate of an accredited Sterile Processing Technician program and hold a current Sterile Processing Technician certificate. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fully accredited ambulatory surgical center. We are seeking a part time employee to assist with sterilization needs at the center and hours are flexible. The ideal candidate is motivated and interested in growth as part of an up and coming small business.
Responsibilities
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment following established protocols.
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclave and ultrasonic cleaners
- Maintain meticulous and accurate records of sterilization cycles
- Assemble instrument sets accurately for surgical procedures
- Adhere to all infection control policies and procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons and staff regarding instrumentation
Requirements
- Maintain Sterile Processing Technician certification
