This is a full-time hybrid role for a Geographic Information Systems Consultant at Urban GIS. The Consultant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as data management, analysis, and working with geospatial data. The role is located in Greensburg, PA, with flexibility for some remote work.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Records Document Controller to join our team. The Records Document Controller will play a crucial role in managing, organizing, and maintaining all business-related documents. This individual will be responsible for tasks ranging from scanning and uploading documents to creating templates for company-wide use. The Records Document Controller will provide compliance with laws and regulations while facilitating efficient document retrieval for authorized personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Scan and Upload Documents: Utilize document management software to scan and upload paper documents, following company procedures and maintaining accuracy.
- Technical Document Management: Collect, register, and organize all technical documents, including drawings and blueprints, in the company's document management system.
- Document Review and Update: Regularly review and update documents to ensure accuracy, maintenance, and adherence to quality control standards.
- Communication and Information Sharing: Keep all personnel informed about new document versions, changes, and procedures for obtaining document access.
- Cross-Departmental Record Handling: Manage records across various departments, ensuring seamless accessibilityfor authorized personnel while maintaining confidentiality.
- Confidentiality Maintenance: Uphold strict confidentiality regarding sensitive documents, implementing security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Collaboration with Team Members: Collaborate with other team members and departments to facilitate document-related processes and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in the continuous improvement of document management processes and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
