Clinical Social Worker III

Position Summary:

We are seeking Clinical Social Worker III's (LCSW) to work within our Children's Behavioral Health Division at our Bronx-based flagship location El Nuevo San Juan Community Health Center. Our Behavioral Health Team spans across two floors, where we provide individual therapy and outpatient psychiatry support to both children and adult patients. As the LCSW, you will utilize evidence-based approaches to provide quality individual therapy to our patients.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work required.
• NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish, strongly preferred
• Familiarity with evidence-based modalities.
• 2 years of previous experience in a mental health clinic, hospital, behavioral health, or similar setting required.

Key Duties:

• Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments.
• Conducts individual psychotherapy and counseling services to children and/or adults and families.
• Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adjust to life, and making changes.
• Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients.
• Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources.
• Provides consultation to medical providers. Collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs.
• Participates in clinical team meetings.

Starting Compensation:

Minimum $85,000 per year; Maximum $94,000 per year

Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:

Onsite, Bronx, NY, Tuesday to Saturday 9 am to 6 pm or 10 am -7 pm, or Monday to Friday 9 am to 6 pm or 10 am to 7 pm with rotating Saturdays.
