Position Summary : Under the direction of the Breast Imaging Manager and Radiologist, the Lead Mammography Technologist (Multi-Modality) will perform diagnostic or screening mammograms to patients in our flagship location El Nuevo San Juan in the Bronx. As a multi-modality tech, the ideal incumbent will also assist with X-Ray and Bone Density Exams when needed. Minimum Qualifications : -ARRT Mammography Certification.-NYS DOH Radiology Technician License-Knowledge of Digital 3-D and Quality Control highly desired.-Completion of 2 years from Accredited School of Radiologic Technology.-2-4 years minimum of related experience with 200 documented mammograms -Bilingual Spanish / English highly desired.Responsibilities Include : -Complete patient education regarding the exam, promote patient privacy and comfort.-Perform diagnostic or screening mammography as ordered.
