Position Summary :
We are currently hiring a Bilingual (Spanish / English) Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join our Dental team at El Nuevo San Juan. The Patient Service Representative provides information, support, encouragement, and assistance to patients and families as they arrive at the health care facility. This role greets and registers patients and visitors, verifies and records patient information, and provides comfort and empathy to patients while maintaining the waiting room. This role provides accurate and consistent information to patients, schedule appointments, and resolves patient concerns.
Minimum Qualifications :
- High School Diploma Required, Associates Degree Preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with clerical / administrative functions is required, ideally in a health care setting.
- Bilingual Spanish / English is required.
- EMR systems proficiency.
- Must have excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional experience to patients.
- Understanding of phone etiquette and standard office procedures.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties :
Starting Compensation : Minimum $18.75 ($39,000 annually); Maximum $18.75 ($39,000 annually)

Applicants must be comfortable working onsite, based out of the Bronx and have availability to commit to a schedule of 40 hours per week, working Tuesday through Saturday 8am-5pm / 9am-6pm.
