What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Service Rep (Bilingual English/Spanish) - Laboratory Department position at Urban Health Plan?
Position Summary :
We are currently hiring a Bilingual Spanish / English Patient Services Representative (PSR) who will work within our Laboratory Department at El Nuevo San Juan. As the PSR you will work in the front desk / waiting area of our family health centers and provide an exceptional patient experience in our health center.
Minimum Qualifications :
- High School Diploma required.
- 1-2 years of experience in office setting with clerical duties required. Training provided on health care administrative duties.
- Bilingual Spanish / English required.
- Must have excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional experience to patients.
- Understanding of phone etiquette and standard office procedures.
- Computer literacy, good communication, team player, listen to patient, take responsibility when needed.
- Ability to responds appropriately and effectively in stressful situations.
Key Duties :
Starting Compensation : Minimum $18.75 ($39,000 annually); Maximum $18.75 ($39,000 annually)

Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule :
Applicants must have availability to commit to a schedule of 40 hours / week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm.
