What are the responsibilities and job description for the School-Based Certified Dental Assistant (Bilingual Spanish/English) position at Urban Health Plan?
Position Summary :
The Dental Assistant will join our School Health Department working based out of schools in the Bronx and Queens . Our School Health team provides health care and specialty services to elementary, middle school, and high school students in public schools located in the Bronx and Queens. Our Dental Assistant will build relationships with school faculty and staff.
Candidates must be willing to rotate between our different schools to provide services if needed working 1-2 days in Queens and 3 days in the Bronx. Candidate must be able to commit to working 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday from 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm.
Minimum Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- Must possess Dental Assistant Certification
- 0-1 years of related experience in a dental setting.
- Must have flexible schedule.
- Bilingual Spanish / English required.
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting, a plus.

Starting Compensation : Minimum $43,680 ($21.00) per year; Maximum $43,680 ($21.00) per year
