Description

Who We Are

Please ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely.

Urban Homeworks' (UHW) mission is to lead the fight for housing justice so that people can have a safe, stable and dignified place to live. UHW develops dignified, affordable rental or homeownership opportunities for low- to moderate-income-primarily BIPOC-households. Using housing as a platform to combat racial wealth gaps and create broader social change, UHW works to build community between neighbors, businesses, and contractors in South and North Minneapolis.

What We Need

The Institutional Relationship Manager works closely with Urban Homeworks leadership and program staff to both create and implement strategy for all institutional giving. The Institutional Relationship Manager contributes to the overall success of the organization by meaningfully engaging our institutional funders, writing and submitting compelling grant proposals to both public and private funders, and increasing philanthropy's understanding of the intersections of race, housing, community development, and social justice.

Why You'll Love Working Here

You will love working for an anti-racist housing justice organization that proudly calls North Minneapolis home. You will be challenged and grow alongside colleagues making waves in Minnesota's housing ecosystem as we advocate for equitable housing solutions coming from the community. And you'll enjoy the hybrid work model with open concept workspaces that facilitate collaboration, a sweet rooftop patio for rest and refreshment, and daily opportunities to work alongside neighbors, colleagues, politicians, and partners in pursuing housing justice for all our neighbors.
