Since 2020, Urban Landmines has been making life easier for pets and their owners in South Central, PA, offering top-notch pooper scooper services, expert pet sitting, waste station installations, and more. As we expand, we're looking for dedicated, passionate Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers to join our team!
Job Summary
As a Pet Sitter or Dog Walker, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and happiness of pets in your care. You’ll engage with pets through walks, playtime, and companionship, while maintaining communication with pet owners and reporting any concerns or changes in behavior. We’re looking for candidates who are reliable, enthusiastic about animal care, and ready to make a real impact in the lives of pets and their owners.
Responsibilities
- Walk dogs in various weather conditions, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness.
- Provide exercise and mental stimulation through engaging walks tailored to each dog’s needs.
- Monitor dog behavior during walks and report any concerns to pet owners.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by picking up after dogs during walks.
- Build strong relationships with pets and owners through excellent communication and customer service.
- Assist with additional pet care tasks such as feeding, administering medication, or providing companionship as needed.
Experience & Qualifications
- Must have prior professional pet experience (e.g., vet tech, daycare, pet sitting, dog training, etc.).
- Familiarity with pet care practices including dog training techniques and animal handling skills is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
- Ability to manage multiple clients while maintaining a high level of care.
- Must be available Monday to Friday (Daytime availability required).

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 25 per week
