What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Teacher position at Urban League of Broward County, Inc.?
Certified teacher (2nd-5th grade) for the MOST (Maximizing Out of School Time) Summer Youth program.
Bachelor's Degree in Education and Current Teaching Certification required. Elementary teacher preferred, but not required.
A current or expired teaching certificate (out of state/country). Proof of certification must be on file. A minimum of 2 years of active experience teaching in a private school. Proof of experience such as a letter from a school or an alternative form of evidence that the teacher has a minimum of two (2) years of active teaching experience must be on file.
Responsible for daily implementation of the program, facilitating curriculum, working with groups and individual children to increase knowledge levels.
17 hours per week, Monday - Thursday
