The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, the leading champion of empowerment and opportunity for African Americans and others throughout the region in securing economic self-reliance, social equality, and civil rights, is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others to work as an Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator to support the Construction Apprenticeship Readiness program in our St. Clair County Outreach center.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract target audiences.
- Organize and attend job fairs, community events, and networking opportunities.
- Identify and cultivate partnerships with schools, community organizations, and businesses.
- Conduct presentations, workshops, and informational sessions to promote programs and opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, community leaders, and partner organizations.
- Develop outreach materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital content.
- Utilize social media, email campaigns, and other platforms to enhance recruitment efforts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional content.
- Maintain a database of potential candidates and track engagement.
- Track and analyze recruitment data to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach strategies.
- Provide reports and recommendations for improving recruitment efforts.
- Case management of new recruits to help ensure continued success and completion in the program.
- May require evening and weekend availability.
- Other duties as assigned.
