The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, the leading champion of empowerment and opportunity, is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others to join our Women's Business Center team as a Program Coordinator.
Major responsibilities include:
- Schedule and arrange all training, date, time, and location; advertising on the website, social media, Eventbrite, and other portals.
- Assist walk-in clients and share information on services and programs
- Assist in managing clients with counselors (contractors) including responding to phone/email inquiries.
- Set up and attend all workshops/training/community events.
- Provide administrative support to the ULSTL WBC Advisory Committee by tracking attendance, taking minutes, updating the calendar, and following up on meetings.
- Monitor training sessions to gather statistical data, and topics to ensure we are meeting the needs of clients.
- Understanding the Notice of Award, WBC Work Guide, CFR, and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accurate reporting for quarterly reports for funders.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years of administrative support experience
- A minimum of 2 years of project management experience
- The ability to prioritize competing projects with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Interact seamlessly with staff and individuals at all levels both internally and externally
- The ability to make independent decisions within established policies and procedures with a plan of action and follow through
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An associate's degree is preferred
