We’re Hiring: Full-Time Administrative Coordinator Hybrid
Are you passionate about supporting small business owners and entrepreneurs? The Urban League of Philadelphia (ULP) is seeking a full-time Administrative Services Coordinator to support our Urban League Entrepreneurship Center (ULEC) team, including the Director, Associate Director, and business consultants. This role is primarily remote with occasional in-person engagements, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
• Database Management: Maintain and update the Center’s database (Biz-Trakker) with client records, training sessions, counseling sessions, and other essential data.
• Event Coordination: Plan and manage virtual and in-person workshops, trainings, and special events. Serve as the meeting host/co-host on platforms like Zoom and Teams, monitor participant interactions, and share event materials with attendees.
• Client Support: Conduct client intake meetings with guidance from the Associate Director and maintain a resource list of entrepreneurship programs, organizations, and industry specialists.
• Registration Oversight: Oversee registration procedures for all training sessions and events, ensuring seamless participation.
What We’re Looking For
• Education: Associate degree or higher (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an administrative role, ideally in a professional setting.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual meeting platforms like Zoom and Teams.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities, with confidence interacting in both one-on-one and group settings.
• Creative Problem-Solving: Enthusiastic, collaborative, and skilled at working with diverse individuals in small business environments.
• Flexibility: Willing to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
