The City of Hillsboro is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our dynamic Information Services (IS) team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to support our growing Enterprise Asset Management Program and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), playing a key role in optimizing critical city operations.

Position Overview : As a Systems Administrator, you will work closely with various city departments to enhance their operations through effective use of the city's CMMS. You'll collaborate with the Asset Management Systems Analyst and other technical experts to drive process improvements, enhance data accessibility, and help maximize the city's investments in community assets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting : Provide technical user support, identify system issues, and implement solutions.
- Systems Administration : Configure and maintain systems, update interfaces, and monitor system performance.
- Data Management & Reporting : Analyze and maintain system data, generate reports, and document processes.
- Testing & Quality Control : Perform system testing and ensure the accuracy of updates and configurations.
- User Training : Offer technical training, answer user questions, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Vendor Coordination : Liaise with external vendors for technical support and resolve product-related issues.
- Documentation : Maintain detailed records, processes, workflows, and technical documentation.

Ideal Candidate Profile : We're looking for someone who excels in problem-solving, is comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, and enjoys working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Our ideal candidate will have :
Preferred Experience : Hands-on experience with CMMS or Enterprise Asset Management systems.
Work Schedule : This is an in-office position, and the selected candidate will be required to work on-site five days a week for the duration of the 6-month onboarding process. After this period, some flexibility may be considered based on performance and departmental needs. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional after-hours work required to support critical projects or address system issues. We prioritize maintaining a healthy work-life balance and strive to minimize these occurrences.
