Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' substance abuse issues
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Provide psychotherapy and behavioral therapy to clients
- Offer mental health counseling and social work services
- Monitor and document clients' progress throughout treatment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
- Utilize case management techniques to ensure continuity of care
- Collect and maintain accurate medical documentation
- Conduct research to stay current on best practices in substance abuse treatment
Experience
- Previous experience in substance abuse counseling or related field is preferred
- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and developing treatment plans
- Strong understanding of psychotherapy and behavioral therapy techniques
- Knowledge of case management principles and practices
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to client progress
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
