Job Responsibilities
- Create detailed CAD drawings and site plans for subdivision projects.
- Design and prepare horizontal and vertical roadways, including site layouts and utility design.
- Prepare erosion and sediment control plans, hydrologic computations for SWM facilities, and perform pavement design computations.
- Coordinate with internal and external engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- EIT certification preferred but not required.
- Experience designing and processing land development applications in Northern Virginia jurisdictions is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, and ability to work independently.
