Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a HCM (Horizontal Machining Center) to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of machining processes, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines, primarily a HCM (Horizontal Machining Center) but may also assist with operating other milling machines and lathes, to produce high-quality parts.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate machining.
- Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions of finished products.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Assemble components as needed, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in operating CNC machinery. Prior HMC experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
- Knowledge of machining processes and quality control measures.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
Schedule
- Monday thru Friday
- 2nd shift - includes 8% shift premium for total number of hours worked
- 2:00pm - 10:00pm with overtime available
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
