Job Summary:
The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights that help drive decision-making within the organization. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, solve business challenges, and support data-driven strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources, including EPICOR (ERP system).
- Conduct data analysis using statistical techniques and software such as Excel.
- Identify patterns, correlations, and trends in data to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with teams across departments to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress.
- Support the development and implementation of data collection systems and other strategies that optimize data quality and efficiency.
- Work with IT, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions and answer critical questions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.
- Use historical order data and compare to POs and customer forecasts.
- Follow trends & analyses to help the company succeed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Economics,
- Computer Science, or related discipline) preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, especially with PivotTables, VLOOKUP’s, and other advanced features is a MUST.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner.
- Experience with data mining, machine learning, or predictive modeling is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Very good with working with numbers.
- Critical Thinking mindset.
Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience working with large datasets and databases.
Salary: $77,000-$82,000
