Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance tasks, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role involves ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained in optimal condition, providing a safe and functional environment for all users. The Maintenance Person will also be responsible for supervising tasks and leading projects as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and facilities.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and inventory.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee residential painting projects, ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests.
- Supervise and train junior maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Fabricate parts as needed using welding techniques and other fabrication methods.
- Utilize logic controllers for troubleshooting automated systems.
- Employ an Ohmmeter to test electrical components and ensure proper functionality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance roles with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication.
- Experience with CMMS software is highly desirable.
- Skills in residential painting techniques are a plus.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
- Ability to weld and fabricate components as required for various projects.
- Leadership qualities to supervise maintenance staff effectively.
- Familiarity with logic controllers is beneficial for troubleshooting automated systems.
