Job Summary:
The Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator plays a crucial role in converting consultations into successful treatment starts. This position combines sales expertise, outstanding customer service, and front desk proficiency to guide patients through their orthodontic journey. You will be responsible for presenting treatment plans, discussing financial options, and ensuring a seamless patient experience. This role requires the ability to commute between multiple office locations.
Responsibilities:
- Sales ( High profile sales experience is a plus ) and Consultation:
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, presenting treatment plans and explaining orthodontic procedures.
- Effectively communicate the benefits of orthodontic treatment and address patient concerns.
- Present and explain financial options, including insurance coverage and payment plans.
- Achieve and exceed monthly treatment start goals.
- Follow up with potential patients to convert consultations into treatment starts.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment for all patients.
- Build rapport with patients and their families, fostering trust and confidence.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
- Front Desk Duties:
- Manage patient scheduling and appointments.
- Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries.
- Verify insurance information and process payments.
- Greet and check in patients, ensuring a smooth patient flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Assist with general office administration as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of orthodontic procedures and technologies.
- Commute between multiple office locations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in a healthcare or orthodontic setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Proficient in front desk operations and patient management.
- Ability to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in relevant software 1 and computer applications. (Ortho 2 is a plus)
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute between multiple office locations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
