Duties

• Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and standards.
• Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and precision to enhance presentation.
• Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed during the preparation, storage, and serving of food.
• Package baked goods for display or catering orders, ensuring quality and freshness.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate production schedules and manage inventory of ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to health regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients during catering events or special orders.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within the food industry.
• Strong skills in cake decorating and an understanding of various pastry techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and passion for baking.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required.
