What are the responsibilities and job description for the Onboarding Coordinator position at Urban Recovery House LLC?
We are looking for a dynamic Onboarding Coordinator to join our Gentle Heart Recovery Corporate Office team. Gentle Heart and it's various locations are growing! We need a fast-pasted coordinator to own onboarding and monitor new hire progress from our verbal offer to walking in the door. This individual works closely with the Human Resource Generalists and recruiters of each location. Experience in health, social working, or other general Human Resource functions are greatly encouraged to apply.
Schedule: On-Site (Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm)
Responsibilities:
- Maintains constant communication with candidates on their onboarding process and paperwork until completion.
- Carries out the process as outlined in Gentle Heart Recovery Policy, Procedures and best practices.
- Establish working relationships with internal and external personnel to facilitate all aspects of facility application processes as it relates to receiving privileges or approvals to work at a facility (ies) and maintaining the privileges.
- Coordination, receipt, and data entry of medical, nursing and clinical information via standardized processes in the credentials software system(s) for the purpose of ensuring information is accurate and up to date
- Ensures current documentation is on file for all personnel and all pertinent documentation is forwarded to appropriate privileging and non-privileging facilities for initial privileges / approvals and reappointments.
- Maintains personal adherence to professional confidentiality standards established within the Department and in accordance with legal, ethical, and facility policies
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Interfacing with medical, nursing, clinical, human resources and leadership with updates, tracking and suggestions.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
