POSITION OVERVIEW
To assist in the maintenance of a safe, clean, and comfortable physical environment.
Salary : $34,307
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sweep, mop, strip, wax and buff common area floors as directed.
- Clean windows, vents, fans, all fixtures, fire equipment and furnishings on regular basis and inform Superintendent of needed repairs.
- Clean residential units when vacated and inform Superintendent of needed repairs.
- Assist in deliveries, unpacking, and stocking shelves.
- Maintain cleanliness of yard, alleys, picnic and play areas.
- Inspect, clean and re-stock public bathrooms daily.
- Clean play rooms and day care rooms daily.
- Bag and remove garbage in accordance with NYC Sanitation requirements.
- Sweep, mop, remove garbage, and tidy offices daily.
- Attend workshops, trainings as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
