About The Role:
Facilities Technician is responsible for completing maintenance tasks to repair appliances and preserve the quality of a facility. Their duties include conducting routine maintenance checks, facilitating and executing tasks among the relevant teams and taking inventory of cleaning supplies, parts, and tools.
Key Functions:
Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, HVAC and related service providers to complete tasks outside of employee’s technical scope.
Perform machine repair on manufacturing and facility related equipment
Assist in buildouts of manufacturing and engineering testing stations
Organize and execute light construction projects involving painting, Drywall, carpentry and flooring
Respond to Facility related emergency’s which may include off hour, weekend, or holiday support
Operating and testing large manufacturing machines as needed involving hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, and high-pressure systems
Manage facility cleans, red tag, and 5s related events
Requirements:
Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Must be local to Denver, CO
Valid Colorado driver’s license
A “can do” attitude and strong work ethic
Able to stand, walk, and stoop; push, pull and lift or lower objects weighing up to 50 lbs
Able to work under adverse conditions (e.g., dirty or noisy spaces)
3 years relevant work experience
Passion for technological development
Nice-to-Haves:
Comprehensive experience with HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems
Experience in light carpentry
Exposure to small team / small company environment (Startups)
Benefits:
This position is a full-time, hourly position with compensation ranging from $32-$35 an hour based on experience. We are required to post this salary range per Colorado law. Your salary will be determined based on your abilities and experience.
