Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team in selling marble, granite, quartz and porcelain slabs to architects, designers, contractors, fabricators, and other industry professionals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building relationships, a solid understanding of natural stone products, and the ability to thrive in a competitive, commission-driven environment.
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing a territory, generating new business, and maintaining relationships with existing clients. You will be the face of our company, helping clients select the right marble and granite products for their needs, providing expert guidance, and ensuring they receive exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the marble, granite, and construction industries.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your assigned territory.
- Meet with clients and prospects to discuss project needs and provide product recommendations.
- Educate customers on the features, benefits, and proper care of marble and granite slabs.
- Present product samples, quotes, and pricing to clients.
- Negotiate sales terms and close deals.
- Monitor market trends and competition to stay ahead of industry changes.
- Collaborate with the inside sales and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to increase brand visibility and network with potential clients.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in building materials, construction, or stone products.
- Strong knowledge of marble and granite slabs, or the willingness to learn about natural stone products.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in outside sales within the stone or construction industry.
- A network of contacts within the design or construction industries.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
