Now we are hiring for an HR ASSISTANT.
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee orientation, and compliance with labor regulations. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while fostering a positive workplace environment. HR experience is preferred but Office Administrative experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in scanning documents onto hard-drives as part of our ongoing efforts to go paperless
- Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews and other meetings.
- Conduct employee orientation sessions to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the company culture.
- Support talent acquisition efforts by maintaining candidate databases and utilizing ATS tools.
- Being the first contact in the HR department and forwarding calls as needed.
- Facilitate conflict management processes by providing support to employees and management in resolving workplace issues.
- Collaborate on change management initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Assist in project management tasks related to HR programs and initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information while ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Spanish/French is highly preferred
- Proven experience in human resources or related field is preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office, meeting scheduling, presentation making, spreadsheets etc is required.
- Experience in handling confidential materials in office.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and FMLA requirements is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
