urban is seeking a creative Intermediate Design Architect for a 60-strong, top tier NYC Design Studio.
This studio is a full-service firm, designing and delivering medium and large-scale projects across New York and the wider United States. They work over a variety of typologies, including multifamily residential, commercial, institutional, and mixed-use buildings, all of an excellent design caliber. They are currently looking to add an Intermediate Architect to their studio as they go through a period of growth.
This is a genuinely rare role, to be heavily involved in, and often leading, the production and development of design for high profile, US based projects at a top design studio. The role comes with a great deal of creative license and will entail working as an Intermediate Design Architect through concept to construction documentation, so will give a varied experience including technical work, although focused primarily on design.
You will be heavily involved in producing presentation materials and visualizations for clients and working through projects from concept design to the construction documentation phase, ensuring the design integrity through each phase of the project. You will be working in Rhino, Enscape and V-Ray to support Project and Senior Architects through the project lifecycle.
To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of 5-8 years’ professional experience at good quality architecture studios, have significant experience with 3D software’s to produce models visualizations, be fluent in Rhino, V-Ray and Enscape, and have worked on medium or large-scale projects.
Salary $80,000 - $110,000 (dependent on experience)
