General Description
Junior Counselors (JC) assist the Camp Leaders with the execution and planning of activities for campers ages 6-12. This program is designed for teens aged 15-17 years old that are interested in learning practical leadership skills by working with children in a fun and professional camp atmosphere. JCs are trained and supervised by the Environmental Education Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS: Interest and enthusiasm in leading and planning children's activities in the outdoors. Communication skills, problem solving, and the ability to enunciate sound policies and clear direction are necessary. CPR and First Aid certifications recommended.
