- Ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment including computer with experience creating with Google, printer, copy machine, telephone, etc.
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to interact in a positive manner with students, faculty, parents, and other staff members of various backgrounds.
- High School Diploma Required.
- One year of specialized training beyond high school preferred.
- Two years experience as an executive secretary or office manager preferred.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Greet parents, faculty, and students.
- Monitor and manage building visitors, volunteers, and guest teachers.
- Keep an accurate list of calls, messages, information requests, meetings and appointments, and discipline references for the principal and staff when necessary.
- Manage and maintain student arrivals during the school day.
- Maintain student records.
- Refer students to principal when necessary.
- Enter student conduct referrals from teachers into the computer and distribute copies to proper recipients.
- Keep an accurate record of locker assignments for reference.
- Assist with basic office operations; photocopy, sort incoming mail and printing, order office forms, etc.
- Assist principal secretary in daily duties.
- Maintain a reliable attendance record.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
- Requires eye/hand/arm coordination and dexterity of fingers and hands in keyboarding, calculating and fingering and grasping small objects normally weighing less than 10 lbs.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling and related physical activity.
- Ability to work while standing, moving and/or walking.
- Drug, tobacco, and alcohol free while working.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle used to travel between sites.
- Majority of work is performed in an office or school setting.
- Occasional exposure to body fluids, fumes, noise, and hazardous materials and emergency situations.
- At-will employee

- Performance evaluated annually.
