Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fine dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and management to maintain the high standards of our restaurant.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders from the kitchen to the guests.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries effectively.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any issues that may arise.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Process payments efficiently and accurately while maintaining guest confidentiality.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and service standards.
Skills
- Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred.
- Proficiency with POS systems; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food service operations and kitchen workflow.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
