Job Description :
As a Senior Content Designer in the shopping experiences space in Product Experience Design and Research (XDR), you'll partner with teams of Designers, Researchers, Product Managers and Engineers to create compelling experiences.
Your role in this highly-collaborative environment is pivotal in shaping Best Buy's customer experiences, establishing how our brand voice comes to life, defining human-centric content strategies, and continuously advocating for improved experiences.
The Shop team designs and implements innovative, human solutions for our search, product list page (PLP), and products details pages (PDP).
To be successful on the Shop team, you'll need :

- The ability to interpret and use customer data to make design decisions
- A gift for building relationships with product and engineering partners and leveraging them to create effective ways of working
- Robust storytelling skills, both in creating experiences and in showing your stakeholders how they meet customer needs and solve customer problems

Responsibilities :
Partner with Experience Designers, Product Managers, Engineering leads, and business stakeholders to create solutions that align customer and business needs.Foster and participate in a culture of collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement.Estimate velocity and work effort using the Agile methodology; track in Jira.Provide insight into our current capabilities and functionality across all digital channels and other customer touchpoints.Drive a strategic content vision that echoes throughout the customer journey.Leverage customer research, data and insights to support assertions, make recommendations and drive strategy.Create clear, concise, and compelling content that makes it easy for our customers to accomplish their tasks.Deliver artifacts that support work efforts as well as ensure standard design practices and consistent experiences.Advance our practice by contributing to the content style guide and design system, driving adoption of content standards within and outside of XD.Present high-level solutions and strategies to product and / or project stakeholders, Engineering leadership and Experience Design leadership.Basic Qualifications :
Current case studies that demonstrate through storytelling the ability to solve customer problems and create Content Design deliverablesBachelor's degree in human-centered design, product design, human computer interaction, information architecture, English, communication, writing, marketing, journalism, instructional design, related field, or equivalent industry experience4 years of experience as a Content Designer, UX Writer or Experience Designer specializing in writing, or 8 years in a related roleKnowledge of Experience Design principles and deliverablesAbility to work through complex design solutions and understand underlying technologyAdvanced ability to communicate writing and design concepts effectively, build consensus and justify decisionsStrong interpersonal communications, organizational savvy, time management and accountabilityPreferred Qualifications :
