Job Title: Maintenance Facilities Manager
The Maintenance Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance and repairs of the facility, defining, implementing, integrating, and troubleshooting maintenance and equipment components. This role involves directing, coordinating, and supervising activities of contractors and in-house staff to ensure strict safety enforcement and timely completion of tasks.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Develop maintenance procedures and implement them, carrying out inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues.
Plan the need and feasibility of minor additions, modifications, and alterations to existing facilities and equipment.
Participate in the design of such modifications to ensure modified/new equipment and installations are maintainable according to organizational standards.
Provide resources and guidance to maintenance staff regarding maintenance operations, including diagnosis and repair of systems, equipment, etc.
Ensure quick response to equipment failures, minimizing production downtime resulting from mechanical issues.
Perform and oversee preventative maintenance inspections and procedures, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
Enforce lockout/tagout safety procedures during service and repair, and implement procedures when new equipment or hazards are recognized.
Manage relationships with contractors and service providers, overseeing the hiring and use of contractors or contracted maintenance employees working on company property and equipment.
Work with available resources to oversee projects, purchases, preventative maintenance, and work orders.
Monitor and arrange performance of preventative and corrective maintenance of greenhouse infrastructure, HVAC, coolers, irrigation systems, generators, louvers, fans, cure room, trim facility (not inclusive) property.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure regulatory and safety compliance protocols.
Maintain records reflecting compliance with all applicable regulations.
Review and research industry literature and design to improve productivity and efficiency.
Work within allocated resources to acquire best-of-class supplies, products, and equipment.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time.
Must be able to sit for up to 8 hours at a time.
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds safely and properly.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering discipline or equivalent work experience required.
Machining and lean manufacturing experience are required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Strong working knowledge of Safety and DCC Regulations.
