Serving over 80 buildings, we work with some of the nation’s top names in real estate. As an events specialist for URBN Playground, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's engagement with its end customers (residents and tenants) and partners by planning meaningful events that drive two-fold results: 1) understanding of what services URBN Playground offers and 2) engagement on the URBN app.
Your expertise and passion will be the driving force in creating moments that enhance the lives of URBN Playground's end customers and elevating the attractiveness and value of the properties for our clients (property managers and boards) who engage us. Your role goes beyond that of an event planner, to designing and executing events that have a direct impact on business outcomes.
Part-Time: $20/hour
Your Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a hospitality-focused, customer-first mindset to deliver exceptional service to stakeholders and participants.
- Plan and coordinate programming calendars and execute small-scale events for software-only sites, focusing on community building, fitness, wellbeing enrichment, and cultural experiences, in collaboration with our partners
- Manage event and amenity reservations via the company's app technology to enhance customer awareness, program utilization, event engagement, and ancillary sales.

- Maintain comprehensive event logs, gather feedback, and prepare monthly reports for URBN Playground leadership to provide insights and track outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Lead to foster and manage strong strategic partnerships that drive value for both URBN Playground and our partners.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key vendors and partners to ensure exceptional service delivery and mutual benefit.
- Provide guidance, training, and coaching to local onsite managers, ensuring successful execution of events and partnership initiatives that align with company objectives.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols in accordance with legal requirements.
- Be the face of URBN Playground for all customer questions, concerns and needs at events and sites you are assigned to.
YOU’LL NEED
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and strong emotional maturity to navigate diverse relationships with end customers, clients, partners, vendors, and team members
- Hunger to learn, grow, and contribute to initiating improvements and scaling existing processes
- Tech savviness to manage app reservations and promotions
- Ability to be a team player with high integrity
- Financial savviness to manage event budgets
- Proactive problem-solving, making decisions independently, and thinking on your feet to navigate emergencies and customer requests/feedback
- A strong grasp of high-level service and etiquette
- A genuine interest and passion for a wide range of cultural and intellectual pursuits that support event planning and relationship-building.
- 2 years of work experience in the health club, aquatics, amenity management, hospitality industries, or similar.
- Experience in people management and work scheduling.
- A sense of humor and a zest for fun!
