What are the responsibilities and job description for the URBN Transportation Data Quality Analyst position at URBN?
- Review and verify purchase orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Transportation policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any discrepancies that may affect the successful delivery of merchandise purchase orders
- Conduct regular audits of freight cost estimates applied to purchase orders, identify the root cause of discrepancies and facilitate corrective actions
- Manage freight payment exceptions related to ocean and air imports
- Provide training and support to staff on purchase order processes and quality control standards related to freight estimates, ship mode and key milestones
- Develop appropriate KPIs to track performance and measure improvement
- Collaborate with URBN Technology, Brands, Sourcing and Finance to maintain the appropriate purchase order standards relating to the movement of goods
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, prioritizing and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence
- Ability to develop creative solutions when troubleshooting
- Ability to work well within a team environment; demonstrating strong interpersonal skills
- High sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient with MS Office applications, strong Excel skills
- Exhibits a high energy level as well as a positive attitude
