- Perform basic laboratory tests and administer medications as directed by the physician.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical coding standards.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimize clinic operations.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Assist with X-ray procedures as needed, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
- Support the overall functioning of the clinic by maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas.
Skills
- Proficient knowledge of medical-surgical procedures and anatomy.
- Familiarity with coding practices relevant to internal medicine and outpatient care.
- Experience in operating room (OR) settings is a plus.
