Urgent Care Group is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our corporate team in St. Louis, MO. The Human Resources Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resources department. This will be a hybrid role with required on-site days each week.
Responsibilities
- Manage employee user access and identification by creating user logins and employee badges, ensuring accurate credentials and timely delivery to new hires and staff
- Support recruitment efforts during periods of high-volume hiring including conducting phone screens, assessing qualifications, coordinating and scheduling interviews with candidates and hiring managers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, user applications, onboarding processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
- Performs periodic audits of HR systems and records to ensure that all required credentials are entered correctly
- Provides clerical support to the HR department
- Acts as a liaison between the organization and external vendors to ensure efficient account and application support
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn, human resource information system (HRIS), EMR systems, and similar computer applications
- Prior related office experience required
- Associate’s degree in related field preferred
