Urgent Care Group (UCG) is a growing healthcare network operating more than 57 urgent care centers in six states. We are focused on growing markets where we can deliver our Mission of fast, friendly, and affordable healthcare. Through acquisition and de novo growth, we are developing new centers by partnering with leading urgent care providers and health systems.
The Operations Analyst will be responsible for providing program leadership, analysis, and insights to support decision-making, improve operational performance, and drive growth initiatives for the company. The analyst will play a key role in tracking, projecting, and driving operational and financial performance across the organization. In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day operations by analyzing data, preparing reports, communicating insights and managing high profile projects to ensure the successful execution of key initiatives.
This position will require travel and will be based out of one of the following locations:
- Atlanta, GA
- Nashville, TN
- St. Louis, MO
Responsibilities
Operations Improvement and Analysis
- Analyze revenue, expenses, staffing, trends and key budget variances and recommend actionable solutions
- Build and maintain operations dashboards and reports, using BI tools as appropriate
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to day-to-day operations
- Identify opportunities for growth, process improvements and cost savings
- Quickly learn new tools and technologies, particularly BIU and AI
- Adapt to changing priorities and address new data points or emerging trends
- Proactively seek opportunities to enhance operations data analytics capabilities and improve reporting processes
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and assumptions for accurate projections of key operations metrics
- Work with business partners to understand factors driving variances and identify risks and opportunities
- Communicate data findings and insights effectively to department and executive leaders
- Prepare executive-level presentations and reports on key findings
Financial Analysis and Forecasting
- Provide guidance on budget and forecast assumptions
- Review monthly financial results and explain variance analysis to budget and forecast
- Support development and maintenance of complex operations-driven financial models for forecasting revenue, expenses, and cash flow
Project Management
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Finance, Data Science, Operations or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Operations Improvement and/or Financial Analysis Role
- MBA preferred
