We are currently seeking a dedicated Private Duty Nursing (PDN) LPN to join our team in Reno, Nevada, and are excited to welcome new graduates to apply for this fulfilling role.
Join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in Private Duty Nursing (PDN) for home health care. The ideal candidate is an experienced nurse with a strong background in community health education and patient-centered care. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing services to individuals and families within their homes and communities, with home visits typically ranging from 4-12 hours per day.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments of patients and their families to determine home health needs.
- Perform complete physical assessments and gather detailed histories of current and previous illnesses.
- Deliver professional nursing care utilizing the full spectrum of the nursing process.
- Assess and evaluate patient status, develop and initiate personalized care plans, and make necessary revisions as patient needs evolve.
- Provide specialized care such as Gtube care and feedings, Trach Care, and/or Vent monitoring, based on experience and patient requirements.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Valid unrestricted Nevada LPN or LVN license.
- Current licensure in the state and CPR/BLS certification.
- Private Duty Nursing Experience required
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Bilingual proficiency is advantageous.
