As a Family Nurse Practitioner with Baptist Health Urgent Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients of all ages with a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and educate patients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care, including routine exams, vaccinations, and treatment of minor injuries
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and X-rays
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and outcomes
Requirements
- Current APRN licensure in the state of Arkansas
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- DEA license, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- BLS certification
