Urgent Team Management is looking for an experienced Radiology Tech to contribute to our medical imaging team
About Urgent Team Management:
With multiple locations across the Southeast, we provide quality and affordable healthcare services. Our convenient walk-in centers offer a range of healthcare services, including treatments for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care.
The centers are open seven days a week: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additionally, all our centers are Accredited Care Centers – a designation from the Urgent Care Association recognizing our commitment to safety, quality, and scope of services.
Job Description:
This position involves performing x-ray testing using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. The successful candidate will operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, and prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies for procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.
• Perform radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physicians
• Perform quality control procedures to ensure quality exams
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures regarding patient safety and care; including proper radiation protection techniques
• Ensure equipment is in proper working order and report any malfunctions to the Area Manager or provider on duty
• Follow documentation procedures and complete required documentation related to patient visits
• Maintain and improve diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills with the support of outside educational resources
• Responsible for maintaining current licensure and certification for facility radiology equipment and licensure
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• ARRT certification
• TN State X-Ray License
• BLS Certification
