Job Summary
We seek an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in Franklin, TN. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care, diagnose, treat, and educate patients while ensuring the highest standard of care and service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical assessment, treatment, and management of clinic patients, including primary care, occupational health, and DOT physicals.
- Perform medical procedures such as laceration repairs, nail removal, pap tests, injections, splinting, and abscess incision and drainage.
- Establish and monitor a medically appropriate level of care for clinic patients.
- Work collaboratively with Center Leadership and other staff to ensure operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards.
Requirements:
- State License as an APRN or Physician Assistant
- Certification as an APRN through the AANP or ANCC
- DEA license, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- BLS certification
