Urgent Team is looking for an experienced Credentialing Specialist to join our corporate office in Nashville, TN (Green Hills). This position is responsible for the daily credentialing, on-boarding, and payer enrollment functions for all physicians and midlevel providers. This position is located in Green Hills and will work a typical Monday-Friday schedule. A hybrid schedule may be possible after training.

Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for the provider credentialing/on-boarding process prior to a new physician or midlevel provider working
- Responsible for the payer enrollment process for all physicians and midlevel providers
- Responsible for the re-credentialing and re-enrollment of current physicians and midlevel providers
- Maintain high level of expertise in credentialing and payer enrollment rules, regulations and standards regarding Federal and multi-state policies that affect payer enrollment and company revenue
- Assist in the maintenance, development, and implementation of the credentialing process and procedures
- Attend pertinent internal and external meetings
- Perform data management and reporting from Echo One/Symed database and ancillary systems
- Generate and present ideas for improvement
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience in medical or related field with a thorough understanding of provider credentialing and payer enrollment
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Good organizational and project management ability
- Comfortable extracting and formatting data for ad hoc report requests
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
