About Us : Washington Regional Urgent Care is part of a growing network with six locations in Northwest Arkansas, affiliated with Urgent Team, a leader in urgent and family care centers in the Southeast. Our centers offer quality, walk-in healthcare services seven days a week for injury treatment, illness care, occupational health, and wellness.
Position Summary : As a key member of our team, you will conduct x-ray tests while utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology. This role requires operating diagnostic equipment, preparing the room for procedures, and assisting with Medical Assistant responsibilities. Full-time employees work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours a week, including 12-hour shifts on weekdays and every other weekend, while PRN members are scheduled as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet patients entering the facility with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Maintain clear communication regarding wait times and the next steps for treatment.
- Assist in resolving patient issues, especially in urgent situations.
- Support front desk staff with patient check-in and check-out when necessary.
- Accurately document patient vital signs, medical history, and other essential information.
- Facilitate patient transfers and assist with provider-supervised procedures.
- Conduct timely radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by physicians.
- Perform quality control to ensure high standards in imaging procedures.
- Ensure the safety and preparation of patients during radiological procedures.
- Regularly check and report any equipment malfunctions.
- Commit to ongoing learning through educational resources.
- Maintain current licensure and certification for the operation of facility radiology equipment.
